MARINE UPFRONT INFO
|
The Marine is probably the most familiar of the three characters to anyone who has played FPS games before. He has the standard health and armor, and various guns like the Pulse Rifle, Flamethrower, and Rocket Launcher. Overall, he is the weakest physically (health/armor) but has the most firepower.

MARINE UPFRONT INFO

You have some options as to how you should play the marine. You can either run-and-gun Quake style, or you can be a bit trickier by using the motion detector. With the run-and-gun model, you should be as fast and furious as possible. You should grab all the weapons you see and kill anything in site. You will need very good reflexes and be able to keep cool in stressful (and sometimes scary) situations. This is usually only good when you are playing multiplayer AvP.

MARINE UPFRONT INFO
|
In single player games, you should be VERY cautious. You will need to rely on your motion detector more than anything. The motion detector will act like your "extended-eyes" while you are on the hunt. You would not want to run headlong into a crowd of Aliens, you normally want them to come to you so you can be prepared. With the motion sensor you will always know when they are coming.
